IT Guy to the Rescue

When it comes to the physical protection of our electronic devices, we spare no expense. Whether it’s a screen protector or a fortified case, we try to ensure no damage occurs when we’re out & about using our devices.

Zobrio is the annual IT support for the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament and recently at a game between Chicago Loyola and Bradley Mark Stillwell, Missouri Sports Hall of Fame Sports Information Director, had a nasty encounter with a basketball thrown by Bradley Universities own Antoine Pittman. While sitting behind the Loyola Team bench, Stillwell happened to be on is HP laptop when a basketball came right for him. With failed attempts to block the ball made by coaches, the hit caused damage to the monitors screen.

Luckily, Zobrio’s own Systems Engineer James Mitchell was onsite and ready to assist in the recovery of Stillwell’s laptop. With thirty seconds left in the half, James was able to repair the laptop and recover the notes that Stillwell had been working on.

Things are bound to go wrong when it comes to electronic devices. You might drop your laptop on the way to meeting down the hall, accidently unplug some wires with your feet under your desk, or even spill coffee on your keyboard. Whatever you encounter, be prepared by ensuring you have the right on-call IT team like Zobrio to provide timely IT & Managed Services. Call (800) 796-4984
